NOTES: |
THE KIT |
One rarely sees WWI figures of any sort so it is quite a treat to find this set from ICM. There are four figures in the set and posed pretty much as you see on the box art. Each figure is made up from a number of parts as head, torso, arms and legs are separate. This is also true of all the various equipment carried by each figure. In fact, there is more 'stuff' than can be used so you'll have a number of bits and pieces left over.
The actual parts themselves are very nicely molded. I found no sink areas, flash or ejector pin marks on the various pieces. One thing I did find a bit odd is that there are no specific assembly instructions, but perhaps they really aren't needed. There is an extensive color painting guide included and the rear of the box has the same thing, though a bit smaller, as in the kit and this one is in full color. Of course, no decals are included.
CONCLUSIONS |
If you are doing any sort of WWI scene then these figures are bound to be quite useful.
