This is yet another of Master Box's interesting figure sets. This time, it is USMC dogs from WWII. The set includes three dogs in various poses as well as their three handlers with all their equipment. All of the dogs appear to be Dobermans, which I guess is about the be standard guard dog of the time. An interesting aside to this is when I was stationed on Guam in the 1970s and early 1980s, I came across a cemetery on the island that was dedicated to war dogs. It was not all that big, but it was well kept and held the graves of those dogs lost in combat. I honestly do not recall if it was for Army dogs, Marine dogs or both, but it was a nice, peaceful place.

Master Box figures are well molded and assemble relatively quickly. They are just the thing for various period dioramas.
