Zvezda 1/72 German Infantry 1939-42

This is another of Zvezda's war gaming kits and this time it is in 1/72, something appropriate for figures. This figures are superbly molded and seem to be in a more flexible plastic than their other kits in this series.

There are two complete sprues as well as two movement cards. The five figures are various poses and the sprue contains several stands. There are ones for an individual figure as well as one for all five. This particular base also has a banner, which I suppose not only facilitates movement, but also allows some sort of identification to be placed on it.

Instructions are nonexistent on this one as they are, after all, just figures so nothing to really build. I did like that the mounting tabs on the bottom of the figure are not only large, but are keyed to the various bases. There is a color example of several figures on the back of the box got those who can't get enough info from the box artwork when it comes to painting time.

This kit is part of a number specially done for Zvezda's 'Art of Tactic' game system. It should make into a very nice and quickly built model in its own right and is really perfect for new modelers thanks to its snap construction.
